A large playground adjacent to a larger, open, green space popular with picnickers. The Playlot is probably the most popular park in the neighborhood. There is a lovely ship structure in the middle that makes friends of strangers through imaginative play. In addition there are play structures for each age group, a water spray, and a sandbox. Lots of shady places for parents to sit. Maintained by the Chicago Park District.
