New, well designed playground near soccer fields and hiking trails. This park has a large playground with a nice rubber surface, a water play area, ample swings and walls around for parents to sit. Nearby, there are picnic areas and sporting facilities.

El Rio Park is a wonderful new park in the heart of Los Angeles. In addition to the large playground space with multiple structures, the park itself has lots of basketball courts, baseball fields, a turf soccer field and wonderful green spaces. Bathrooms and water fountains are here too. Attractive landscaping and overall park design. Great!
