City Park is rebuilding beautifully after Hurricane Katrina. The playground still needs a bit of maintenance, however, and the rubber surfacing has a few cracks. There are two playgrounds in New Orleans City Park, one for ages 5-12 and this one for 2-5. Featuring a custom Clatterbridge handrail specifically designed for 2-5 years and also a Transfer Module for ADA accessibility. The structures were installed over a concrete base with a poured-in-place rubber surfacing. Separate play space for 2-5 year olds (tot lot). 10 6' Border Timbers for Sandbox, Acc EZ Digger; Post Icons- Sun, Friends, Telescope, Hand Over Hand Ladder - Wheelchair Ht, Storefront and Crawl Tube, 360 Spiral Slide, Lightning Wide Slide, Double Glide Slide, Glide Slide, Crit Cross, Challenge Walk, Babble-On, U-Bounce, Steggo, Ribbon, Climb Across, Beanstalk Climber, Silo Climber, Spiral Climber, and Arch Swings.
