Daniel Michaux Coxe Park is a beautiful pocket park located in the Logan Square Neighborhood section of Philadelphia. It is bordered by Beechwood Street to the west, Appletree Street to the south, Cherry Street to the north and abutting homes to the east. There are several pieces of playground equipment in the concrete-covered area at the south end of the park: 4 swings, a pony see-saw, a twisty metal slide, monkey bars, and a dolphin sculpture. The north section of the park is paved. There are six small benches and the statue, Benjamin Franklin and His Kite by Agness Yarnell. This area has bushes and plants, mulched beds and some shade. The park receives ample sunlight and has sufficient lighting. Daniel Michaux Coxe Park serves a gathering place for the Logan Square community.
