We're attempting to refurbish an outdated playspot managed by the New Orleans Recreation Department.
These playspots could be amazing. There are two playgrounds in a beautiful setting lined with oak trees. The playgrounds are probably 30 years old and the manufacturer is Playbooster. What makes these spots unique is that they are open 24 hours a day a get lots of exposure. They are built on the Jefferson Davis Median with lots of grassy area. Just a few blocks away is the historic and nostalgic Bayou St. John waterway, a urban bayou in Mid City New Orleans.
