The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) and YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis partner to provide safe places for youth during the summer and reduce youth violence. In 2007 the YMCA signed a three-year agreement to manage and operate the MPRB-owned North Commons Water Park.
