1 internal railroad. There are several leases in park including The Zoo, The Tuesday Musical Club, The First Tee Area, and The Witte Musuem. Other areas of the park include the Sunken Garden Theater, Japanese Tea Gardens, and Lions Field. This park has several bridges.

I don't know if it once was gorgeous, but the playground was pretty bad when I went. There was graffiti, and a lot of broken glass surrounding the benches inside of the play area for children; I didn't want to let my daughter run around for fear of her getting injured. There were also some very creepy men hovering around inside the play area too- there were a couple other moms there in addition to myself, and we all left fairly quickly.

Brackenridge park offers recreation, fun and beauty for all ages. The zoo is expanding and the San Antonio River is an incredibly wonderful asset.
