Separate play space for 2-5 year olds (tot lot). Beautiful park with newly renovated playgrounds, a train, carousel, ice cream parlor, nature trails, a lake, fishing, boating, and soccer fields. http://dc.about.com/od/childrensactivities/a/BestPlaygrounds.htm

Sorry- my comments keep getting cut off if they're too long. We love this park. My kids can't get enough. Unfortunately, this time, we came on a day they decided to close the train early. They even arbitrarily closed the ice cream store several hours early, too. So it was a bit disappointing since those are the main attractions. But luckily, it wasn't our first time visiting. We really love this park.

Last summer my daughter and I would come out every day to have a picnic in the park and play music in the sun. We love it!
