Seasons Park

Great park , but woefully inadequate smaller dog space. Small dogs often don't do well with larger breeds once rambunctious and playful. The lack of space for the smaller pooches will inevitably create tension and confrontation as owners protect their little dogs. I suspect that the city did not recognize this unforeseen consequence of limiting space for the smaller breeds. Please review the planning for this park before trouble erupts.

We have been taking our 3 year-old Golden Retriever almost daily to Seasons Park since it opened in January. It is wonderful and with all the room for the big dogs there have been few problems. Some of the GIANT dogs and the unneutered males can be a problem however. Am planning on attending the May 9th meeting in hopes of saving as much space as possible for the larger dogs.

We saved a 1 1/2 year old, 50 lbs, lab mix 6 weeks ago. We took her to a dog park today for the first time. The park was the new La Quinta "Seasons Park." The experience for us and our dog was wonderful. The park is beautiful, surrounded by Bourganvilla and with mountains in the background. There were about 8 other dogs there, all very friendly, and with lots of energy. Our dog had the time of her life and got plenty of exercise. Thank you La Quinta for creating such a wonderful facility.
