What's great about this playspace is the children who use it--high energy, positive children whose neighborhood has very few opportunities for high quality recreation. Most playgrounds in East Harlem are bare blacktops with a couple of basketball hoops. Our kids deserve better--and in a neighborhood plagued by health issues such as asthma, obesity, and diabetes, they need a better playspace to live!
