Fully renovated in 2011, this DC Parks & Recreation area beside Watkins Elementary School features a new playground with poured-in-place rubber surfacing around the equipment, a climbing wall, nature play area, turf athletics field, basketball court, and skating rink. In addition, DPR operates an outdoor pool during summer months, accessible from the athletic fields. Check the DPR web site (dpr.dc.gov) for hours and dates of operation.
