Redeveloped in 2008 and 2009, Hawkeye Park has received $700,000 in enhancements, making the park a hub for adult sports activities. The park showcases four lit sand volleyball courts, two adult softball fields, six lit tennis courts, full service concession, open concrete area for the popular bags tailgating game, an interactive playground and a fishing pond. In addition there is open green space and an outdoor park shelter. Hawkeye Park also has a lit trail loop and the Lakeside Center, which is a popular destination for weddings, graduations, etc. For more information on the Lakeside Center call 515-963-3570.
