Northport Students deserve a safe place to play and form a community. Last year Northport gained nearly 200 additional students making the current playground inadequate for the number of students. Please help us get a new playground for the kids!!!

Northport students need a playground that promotes different types of play. It is vital for the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development of our kids.
Good luck Northpoint!!! Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it. ~Plato Lisa Tyler-Hammock

When did play become such a low priority in our school system? Probably about the same time we decided to spend more time on math and reading tests. Ironically brain research tells us that to improve your brain you have to play! Adults know this. When are you at your best? It's when you move and play. Let's get back to making PLAY a priority for kid's development.

The old playground is outdated and unsafe. The grounds are layered with small pebbles which younger students have been sticking into their ears, ouch! A new playground along with some recycled rubber mulch will do wonders to improve the safety and morale of the NorthPort students and staff!!
