Beautiful little city park with winding paths under old oak trees and king palms. The playground (swings, two slides, and climbing equipment) is a popular spot, and usually at least a few kids are playing there, with many little toddlers as well as older kids. In addition, there are three sculptures along the paths, lots of squirrels from the oak trees to delight little ones, a large grass field in the middle for playing soccer, etc. (neighborhood games happen regularly), and the winding paved paths themselves are great for bikes. Added bonus: many musicians come here to practice as well, so there's often the sound of live music wafting around, and other performers (jugglers, acrobats, etc.) are fascinating for the kids, and are generally friendly and can often be seen teaching older kids tricks. A little warning: it's an urban park with a "live and let live" atmosphere, which brings with it bums/drunks, gutter punks, and other people who can be annoying.
