The Charter School is amazing! A playground upgrade would help them better the educational experience for their students, especially because they don't receive the benefit of local tax dollars that the other public school receive.

Spartanburg Charter School is like the little engine that could. The school keeps pushing forward despite constant obstacles that are put before it. This school was years in the planning and is a remarkable testiment to would people can accomplish when they work together. A playground upgrade would be inspirational for this school and would empower people to keep doing more to create an amazing, fun, safe learning environment

This playground is at a school that was built in 1940 and has had many walk its halls through the years. The school was re-created to continue to educate the children in the community. It is located in a neighborhood that is listed on the National Historic Register and there is a lot of pride running through the streets. When I go to pick up my grandchildren at this school, the youngest is always on the playground and doesn't want to leave. The love and care that came together to build this playground is truly incredible.
