One square block, the Mamie Conrad playground is located in the Carrollton-Hollygrove Neighborhood and serves as a gathering place for neighborhood events as well as year round sporting activities including junior football, baseball, adult softball, informal basketball games. A small playspace for kids is next to the covered basketball court. The Hollygrove Walking Club meets on Thursdays. A reinvigorated booster club is in the works.
