Stillwater Glen Hollow Park

We need this park so badly! Right now instead of being inside kids could be playing at their park!

When we moved into this neghborhood, we were told by the builder that the park would be an added bonus and was in the works. We were pregnant with our first child then and were thrilled with the prospect of having a park that we can call our own in such a family friendly neighborhood. Three children and 7 years later, we are still staring down at the hopes of a park and a barren piece of property. It would be phenomal if this park could b a part of our childrens lives. It is in the best interest of the community and the town of Stillwater to see this park built as we are located in the epicenter of the largest build project of the United States. The Malta Technology park which is located in our backyard is a thriving 4.2 billion dollar operation and the home to Global Foundries and other flourishing micro-chip companies. Bringing to our area thousands of new jobs and families. The exposure for Parents magazine and Kaboom alone would be reason enough to provide our community with a park. Not to mention the hundreds of families and thousands of children that could benefit from a comuniity friendly park like the one we could house on this beautiful plot of land. With fingers crossed and baited breath we hope you choose our park!

I am so happy to see how our community has gotten involved in this cause. If we keep working together, we can make this dream a reality!!!!!!

i was just looking at all the other parks in this contest, and they are just that, PARKS!!! ours is just a sand pit!! we need this more than anyone else.

It's about time someone has taken the initiative to get this rolling! We've been here for 10 years and have been promised a park by everyone ... politicians, realtors, the builder. Thank you for putting the time and effort to get this moving. Maybe we'll finally get something that the whole town can be proud of!

It has so much potential...it's like a large hollow where kids can dream and play.....there are migratory birds, frogs and insects, its large enough to have a jogging trail, its walking distance to hundreds of families.... But mostly its just depressing to see it just sitting there year after year with no sounds of children playing.........just silence......
