Voss Park is a beautiful campground with trees and a walk/bike trail located in Butterfield, MN. The campground has old and unsafe playground equipment consisting of old broken swings, a tire sandbox, metal tractor with monkey bars, and a small metal spider. Each year the campground gets busier, but in a small town it has been very difficult to get the playground with fundraising efforts. Our objective for the new playground is to provide an area where the children can safely play while visiting Voss Park and also to bring the community together by providing a place for recreation and community activity.

This campground is in serious need for a new campground to benefit ALL the kids that stay in the campground, not just for the people who come out to use the shelters..

I believe getting a playgroung in the CAMPGROUND will bring in more the younger couples with children so their kids will have something to play on

WAY TO GO BUTTERFIELD!!! We have a lot to be proud of coming from a small community like ours. This is definately a project that needs a lot of attention since this is a campground that families do bring their families to for a fun and relaxing time... and the kids need an area to play so the parents can relax and enjoy their time :)

The pictures on here are awesome! I am so impressed with all of the hard work of every one trying to get Voss Park a playground. Butterfield is a town of 450 people and to have 64 fans is awesome! All of the hard work WILL pay off. We are proud of our SMALL but STRONG community!

I am a mother of 2 young children. We love to spend time at Voss Park. Tonight we were out at the park and my oldest boy could not find any thing to do other than jump off of picnic tables. A playground is desperately needed at Voss Park. It is a shame that such a nice area is lacking such a basic item for children.
