YOU! is a drug prevention afterschool program for youth 6th through 12th grade. We provide a safe, positive, educational environment in the high risk afterschool and out of school time hours. We moved into our new Youth Center two years ago but have not been able to find funding for our playspace. The City will provide irrigation and sod, our Human Services Board will provide benches and picnic tables. Our center is in an older part of town where there is no playground, we want to turn our Youth Center area into a neighborhood gathering space.

With all they do and all they have available, YES, THEY NEED A PLAYGROUND. I am forever grateful to YOU! for just existing. I know that they have made my boys youth experience more positive than it otherwise would have been.

All of the youth that has taken part of Youth opportunities unlimited have done so many wonderful things for the community, they deserve to have this playground.

Adding landscaping & play structures to the YOU! Center add so much for the youth in this community. The YOU! Center is a great place for youth to be & the kids want to be outside in a safe envirornment. It will add some much to the neighborhood as well.

Since I have been in 6th grade, Youth Opportunities Unlimited has been an essential part in my life. I would not be who I am today without it. We have a wonderful building for the Youth to play and have fun but now we need an outside location that is on site. It would be much appreciated to get a playground for these kids. They deserve it!

The YOU! kids have been working sooooo hard. They are fundraising machines. I am so proud of their dedication. These young people are true, blue, YOU!. They are guided by our Character Counts pillars and following this standard in all that they do.
