This is a private playspace without public access. Preschool and School for children with autism, an extremely worthy cause! I am nominating my sons school, New Heights. They are a special school for children with autism. The school was started by several parents who could not find suitable educational options for their autistic children. They have only been open about 6 years but for the first three they operated without any government funding, and while they have funding now the school has not been able to afford luxuries such as this. A playground such as this would benefit these children in unimaginable ways! Autistic children don't automatically learn from the world around them as a typical child would. They need to be taught and encouraged using tools and strategies but in order for this to work the child needs to be motivated to learn, not always easy for these kids who are bombarded with stimuli that they can't ignore every second of the day. Being able to encourage these kids to use and build their playskills and imaginative abilities would help to improve the quality of life for 40 autistic students!

What a difference a day makes. What a difference a week can make. We have 7 days, we have one week! Let's keep this rally going. All votes count! Get one friend to vote and let them tell others too! I am so proud of New Heights,the teachers and parents really work hard for the kids and the school,thanks to Kaboom the school is in the running for a new playground which they really need I have seen first hand what the existing playground looks like and can't believe the kids actually use the equipment that is there.I hope the community will get behind the school and vote for the kids to get a new playground that is badly needed. Thank you Kaboom,teachers ,and parents for helping the kids.

Hi everyone...we were on CTV news tonight...great little story! Our principal, Katie did a great job! The kids were fantastic. Calgary Sun tomorrow...page 6...there will be a story about us as well! We are doing wonderful and creeping into first place...keep it up. Its awe inspiring! I am so happy to be a part of it all! April

CTV news is coming for an interview tomorrow....so happy that the media is picking up on this and hopefully it will push us into 1st place. This contest has been a wonderful way for us to learn just HOW supportive the community can be. These kids are feeling the love and are so excited everyday at school....it is amazing to be a part of. Good luck to everyone in this contest...you obviously love and care for kids wherever you are, and that's always a good thing....healthy competition is fun, but no matter what school wins, the children are the winners, for having such wonderful people in their lives! Peace, and let's take this thing home everyone...the kiddos deserve the best
