This is a 65-acre park in Miami. This park is dedicated and named after the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department, who believed that recreation was an essential part of our daily lives. This park contains a lake which is viewable throughly around with park benches located around the lake. It contains a community pool, a playground, bike/walking trails, and basketball courts. It also contains more than enough space for people to play soccer and baseball. It's an espectacular view.

he Leisure Access Center is a special group residential camp for persons with disabilities surrounded by ten acres of pineland and tropical hardwoods. It features two cottages equipped with showers, a lodge, and a dining hall with full kitchen. This campground is available only to groups and/or organizations, no family camping is allowed. The cabins include 10 (twin) beds per cabin (occupancy load is 20), you can bring additional cots/sleeping bags or roll away beds. There are two fully accessible restrooms with showers in each cabin. There are Ceiling fans as well as central A/C-Heat. The Lodge / Kitchen area seats 64 with tables and 90 without tables and may be reserved for meetings or social functions. Special activities for persons with disabilities are offered at the camp, and the complex may be reserved for special programs. Reservations are limited to weekends only. Rates are: $195.00/ 1 Cabin per night* $250.00/ 2 Cabins per night* *Security Deposit: $325.00 (due at time of booking)

You know what I love is that they have an area where they make an open fire and there are benches around the fire. S'mores anyone! ^_^

This park will is making a water splash zone for kids, with over-sized umbrellas hovering over tables for parents to supervise while kids are splashing and having fun.
