Cesar Chavez Park

41st Ave and Tennyson St Denver, CO,

Average Rating: 4.0 (1 rating)
Playground, Park, Public, Free

Great playground for kids and adults in the cozy but gentrified residential Berkeley neighborhood of Northwest Denver. Amenities include: Two Bocce courts, two ping pong tables, two basketball hoops, picnic tables, shade trees, trash cans. No permanent bathroom facility but there is usually a clean blue outhouse on the West side of the park. Good climbing structure for kids has four slides, there is also a stand alone monkey bar style climber and tire swing. Good sized green space too for kids to just run around or kick a ball, etc. Unfortunately no traditional kid swings or baby swings. Lots of restaurants nearby. 15 minutes from downtown Denver, five minutes from hwys I70 and I25. Bring your own ping pong, bocce, basketball equipment.
